"Very nice hotel, but generally dark in most areas. Entering at street level into a dark space with no direction that the lobby is on the next floor was unacceptable. Service at the lovely lobby bar was not up to the standards expected at this level hotel. Very slow and not crowded. Very nice room with a great view and amenities. "

Hotel is older with alot of charm. Rooms are small. Beds ok. It was pretty warm in our room but we made due. Would stay here again in a heartbeat for location alone!"

"Location was perfect walking distance to many landmarks i.e 15 mins from central park and Times Sq. And Bryant park was up the street which was cool. We arrived before noon and our room was ready and also upon checkout they allowed us until noon with no extra fee. Front desk provided us with complimentary water bottles whenever we asked for them which is a bonus. Our room 2305 was cool and had a view of empire state building and was quiet."

"I loved staying here, brilliant area to stay in if you are going to choose Brooklyn, close to the subway but also walking distance to great cafes and quiet streets if you are looking to explore close to the hotel. "Charming boutique hotel on the east side between Park and Lexington. Fairly convenient to Theater District - about a 20 minute walk. Area is safer and quieter than midtown west side. However there are fewer dining and shopping options in the immediate area after normal business hours. Room size is adequate and rooms are appointed nicely with 2 free bottles of water daily.
