"What an absolutely perfect place to stay! Not only is the Villa itself gorgeous and functional but the view is beyond stunning. There was an island wide blackout for our first 2 days and the solar panels and Tesla walls kept everything running perfectly, and the property managers were in touch with us the entire time keeping us updated. We didn't even notice because we were out enjoying the island, and when we were at the villa we were just caught up in the stunning view and beautiful pool. We will absolutely be renting Villa Capiz again when we take our next trip to the island!"

"The photos of this property did not do it justice, the house itself and the views are much more spectacular in person. The drive was a little on the steep side, but so worth it for the home. Wish there would have been AC in the kitchen area but otherwise it was absolutely amazing."

"Miles Away is an excellent rental. We really enjoyed the location; far enough away from Cruz Bay to feel very secluded but a relatively short drive to get to the grocery store or restaurants. The views are incredible, and the pool is great. It was great to relax by with a drink or to cool off after exploring the island. The house itself was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was extremely nice and had everything you might need. Multiple coolers and beach chairs for your use if you want to spend the day at any of the beaches on St. John. Perfect place to stay for a couple or 4 people. We never had any issues to have to contact the property manager during our stay, but they were very responsive during the check in process. We would definitely stay at Miles Away again."

"Fantastic location in Chocolate Hole. The Villa itself is clean, bright, high-tech and furnished with high-end appliances and thoughtful detail, such as a Keurig cubby upstairs and robes in the closets. The villa is just Steps from a beach to snorkel. Our master bedroom was huge with high ceilings. The master bedroom balcony was spacious and provided a view of the bay. We played many card games at night and sipped coffee in the morning. Snorkel equipment and beach chairs are provided to use. Construction on other villas is ongoing, but was not noisy. Very quiet at night. The entrance road is deceiving, but after the modest gravel road, the beautifully landscaped villas emerge."

"This place was wonderful with a stunning view! We spent 5 nights here to celebrate our 15th anniversary. James met us at the ferry and guided us to the house and showed us around. The sunsets were spectacular with the gorgeous view! The house was unique- I love all the arched doorways and windows with wood shutters and the round stained glass window. The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked/grilled a lot the first 3 days. Having a big refrigerator was nice! The living/dining room is a screened in room. We watched a big iguana outside in a tree for awhile. It got a little warm during the afternoon/sunset but St. John is always warm.🙂 We didn't use the hot tub since it was warm. We didn't use the pool either since we were usually worn out from swimming at the beaches. There were coolers,beach towels,chairs and floats there which was so nice for our beach excursions. Having a way to do laundry was nice! The bathroom$ was also stocked well with towels. There are steps going into the house,up top to the pool/deck and inside going to the bathroom/laundry rooms. So if you're elderly,this may not be the place for you. There were chickens,iguanas and hermit crabs around to add to the island feel. The electricity went off a few times which is not the owner's fault, but be aware that it happens frequently on the island. We'd definitely stay again!"
