"The service at this hotel needs special mention. Nthing was too much trouble and staff went well above and beyond what was expected. Arriving late we were welcomed by the restaurant manager (the only person still working) were shown to our room and offered a late meal (very welcome) asking at reception the next day for recommendations as to where to visit, within 5 minutes a knock on the door and a sheaf of suggestions in english. "We can’t say enough about our lovely, welcoming stay at this spectacular historical home. Every detail & comfort had been thoughtfully considered. Well-appointed & clean.
