"Large well kept property with traditional decor - pretty palatial, actually. Rooms are very well priced, considering generous size and luxury furnishings. Crisp and very clean. My pet peeve with hotel rooms- must have good Nespresso machine and real milk/cream, not horrible powder. Check - this hotel has both. Beautiful setting on a lake, with lots of outdoor seating. Lots of bikes, kayaks etc. would be a great place for a special event/wedding. 5 stars."

"One thing that would be helpful for guests arriving on a Sunday is to let them know what is open on the weekends only such as the outdoor pool and the Papineau museum. Also having a menu for some basic items such as a pizza or burger would be a good idea. Thanks. We hope to be back in the fall"

"Upon entering Le Grant Lodge, my 2 friends and I were so impressed by the log cabin atmosphere with the real fireplaces in the lobby. Our suites had everything that we needed and we were told that we could call Housekeeping for anything else that we might need.
