"We fully enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal, the staff all very friendly and accommodating. Location was so convenient, you can come right out onto the street and there’s a convenience store steps from the entrance! The gym is quite minimal, so we went to the Marina du Albufeira and got a week’s pass at the Luxury Fitness there. The pillows are a bit on the small/soft side, but I’m sure they would have given us extras had we asked (we were always just so tired when we got back to the room!) We also found the room quite soundproof, despite being so close to the busy street and pool. "

"The hotel is AMAZING so are the staff!! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The swallows were so cute flying around the greenery. The pool was great! Every 2 chairs had an umbrella. We went down to the beach but you have to reserve chairs and pay for them which we didn’t not so we sat on the sand for a little while. They have 4 restaurants which we only went to 2 we had buffet breakfast that had a lot to choose from and. Are at the Italian restaurant 2x food is excellent and Rita is the sweetest! All in all it’s ***** Much needed beach relax after site seeing Lisbon and Porto"

"The staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant food and the facilities. Of all the locations at which my wife and I stayed during three weeks in Europe, the Dom Jose was the cleanest and most comfortable. Rui, who worked the front desk, was great, as were all of the staff. The only complaint was that there was no on-site parking, which meant paid parking near the beach or parking a distance from the hotel. Otherwise, we'd visit again."

"Everything was Great! My Only suggestion would be for the food to be kept hotter during the buffet. Or having Microwaves available to heat food. For the rooms, small wash clothes would be helpful (only had large hand towels to wash up with). "

"The hotel is conveniently set by the harbour and within easy walking distance to the old town, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is super clean, friendly staff and offering a lovely rooftop bar for the perfect sunset views. Good breakfast buffet accompanied by a piano player, rooms cleaned daily, we will definitely by returning. "

"Everything was great from the time we checked in to our departure! The staff assisted us with a tour to the caves, later canceled and they found us another. Nicole & Joāo were the best very helpful & courteous "

"The hotel is in a great location on top of the cliffs with easy access to a beautiful beach 2 mins walk away. The whole hotel is lovely, rooms, pools etc. we did notice one of the restaurants in the hotel was shut but there were restaurants within walking distance if you didn’t mind a 29 min walk otherwise it would be very limited dining. The old town is a free bus ride away but it’s a 25 min walk as it only runs 3 times a day. Here you will find the ‘party’ if you wanted it, it’s lovely in day before the clubs get going, but it’s worth noting the hotel itself is in a lovely peaceful quite spot on top of the cliffs with sea views."

"The resort is beautiful and has private access to the beach which is beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety and worth the money, it sets you up for the day. The staff were lovely. welcoming and friendly, there is always someone to help at the reception desk. Free shuttle into old town"
