Because of her efforts, we felt genuinely valued and well taken care of, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. In addition, the hotel itself is immaculate, the staff is warm and attentive, and the views are simply breathtaking. We are so glad we discovered this property in the Monterey area and will absolutely be returning in the future. We look forward to our next stay."

"The home is lovely. The only suggestions I would have would be to provide places for luggage in the bedrooms. Luggage racks or ottoman’s or even a dresser would be helpful. And I would also suggest adding one more chair for the living room. There is plenty of space for an easy chair or something similar. "

"The rooms have no AC and the breakfast options are very limited. They leave the windows open for you and the room we got had a box fan, although I did see from outside the hotel that some rooms have a ceiling fan (but ours didn't). Their justification was that the weather in Monterey fluctuates and since the building is so old, there is no AC. But you can't close the window curtains fully, some parts of the windows will always be uncovered, so the room was very bright, noisy, and hot at night. For breakfast, they had a yogurt machine, a waffle machine, coffee and juice, and some pastries. There was no fresh or hot food, no proteins. We were originally supposed to spend 2 nights here but after the first night we decided to leave early. I would NOT recommend staying here. "
