"The room is clean and tidy and decent Air con but the check in process isn’t great for UK visitors, they send the details to your phone number instead of Email or Whatsapp first. We had a worrying 3 hour drive hoping there was someone at reception when we got there. Also its located at the end of a runway and flights starting at around 5am until late which wasn’t ideal. "

"The home is lovely. The only suggestions I would have would be to provide places for luggage in the bedrooms. Luggage racks or ottoman’s or even a dresser would be helpful. And I would also suggest adding one more chair for the living room. There is plenty of space for an easy chair or something similar. "

"The rooms have no AC and the breakfast options are very limited. They leave the windows open for you and the room we got had a box fan, although I did see from outside the hotel that some rooms have a ceiling fan (but ours didn't). Their justification was that the weather in Monterey fluctuates and since the building is so old, there is no AC. But you can't close the window curtains fully, some parts of the windows will always be uncovered, so the room was very bright, noisy, and hot at night. For breakfast, they had a yogurt machine, a waffle machine, coffee and juice, and some pastries. There was no fresh or hot food, no proteins. We were originally supposed to spend 2 nights here but after the first night we decided to leave early. I would NOT recommend staying here. "

"Room was extremely small. We have stayed there before and had a wonderful space. Bathroom door had to be pulled shut with two people. I asked for a microwave one staff member said it would be in our room when we returned but it wasn’t. I called and asked for it again and was told they don’t do that. So which is it? I spent over $1,000 for a two night stay and my accommodations should have been much better than it was. Extremely disappointed! "
