Asilomar Conference Grounds

"My husband is a teacher and chaperoned fifth grade here for a week long field trip in May, and that’s how we found out about Asilomar. He said we need to go with our little family! Loved our stay, we plan on more weekend getaways here! The beach is beautiful (I’m from Australia, so I know beautiful beaches) and the weather was perfect."

"Super cute motel in the heart of Pacific Grove. Just a few blocks off of the famous 17 Mile Drive. Great walks all over the place. Light House also very close. The downtown area of Pacific Grove is very cute and short drive to Monterey and Cannery Row. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location! Nice staff. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent bedding. Convinient garage. Downsides: too early checkout and too late checkin. No air conditioner, some technical issues like leaking toilet tank."

Sea Breeze Inn And Cottages

"The Sea Breeze Inn and Cottages was an ideal cozy getaway for my family and me. Since my husband had some work in the area as an IT contractor, we always try to seize the opportunity for a little vacation whenever he’s called away from home. Monterey is stunning; I adore the ocean vibe, and The Sea Breeze Inn felt like our own little apartment. I brought along my 3 1/2-year-old daughter, who needs plenty of space to play while also feeling at ease. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We accidentally left our keys in the room when we went out for the evening, and when we called the lobby on our way back, the clerk was more than willing to assist us, even though it was late. We parked right in front of our room, which was super convenient, allowing us to carry everything straight inside. We stayed in the Deluxe Queen room, which featured a small kitchen table, a sink, two stovetops, and a microwave. Although we didn’t cook, we utilized the refrigerator for our drinks and snacks. It felt like we were home. There was even a small fireplace, but it wasn’t chilly enough for a fire during our stay. The room had two queen beds and a private bathroom, and I loved the location. When we return, I would definitely stay again or explore one of the many other options they have. It was perfect for us because my husband could work while we enjoyed the room just like we would at home, and we all felt comfortable enough. After checking out, we visited the aquarium and beach."
