"A great location in Catania central to lots of shopping and dining options. The service from the staff was wonderful and they gave us great tips for things to do in town. Buatta is right around the corner and we absolutely loved it there. Nelson wines was also a great place nearby for a drink with a great view."

"Excellent service from the friendly owner. Convenient parking. Cozy room with comfortable beds. The villa is fantastically located in the hills and you'll get stunning views of the Catania area. A few minutes drive from the town of Nicolos where we found great food and good vibes. Overall, very good value for money. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Aresco to anyone visiting Etna area."

"My family and I loved strolling the property admiring all of the various trees and plants while enjoying the views of the sea and Mt Etna. The owner even makes his own marmalade with fruit grown on the property that was served to us for breakfast. Property is quiet and was the perfect distance for our meeting with our Mt Etna tour company. Also enjoyed going to nearby Riposte that was a short drive away. Only issue was not being able to connect to WiFi but hey, that's not why you visit Italy."

"It would be difficult to overstate just how wonderful this place is. The rooms are clean and relatively spacious, the breakfast is wonderful, the owner is absolutely phenomenal (he even assisted me with gassing up my car before we left!), and the pool is absolutely magnificent…I’ve never seen a nicer pool outside of a resort!"

"I put easy parking because you will park in a lot and then take a free shuttle into town. However, then you have to tow your luggage around to Casa Turrisi and up a large flight of stairs to the reception up to your room on a tight staircase. The room was small but comfortable with a very compact bathroom that could use a good bleaching on the shower grout. It is quick walk to everywhere in town.
