"Amazing hotel with Arenal Volcano views. It's a very big resort and our rooms was very far away but the resort offers transportation to and from our room. The room was big and spacious. Food was great at the restaurant, at the bar and also for breakfast. Thermal pools were amazing and relaxing. The only issue we had was that they don't offer transportation to the volcano viewpoint or to the lake. So we walked up, 2 miles uphill to the viewpoint, and let me tell you that my chest started to hurt and I got really scarred. I do not recommend this hike. We paid good money for this resort and this should be included. Aside from this upsetting issue everything else was great. "

"The Cala Lodge is so eco conscious, views are phenomenal , nature walk, birds…wow! Staff is extremely kind and breakfast was delicious. Recommendations were appreciated. Room so cute and comfy. A small coffee maker/hot water maker in room would be amazing but only a suggestion. Was a wonderful experience and close to cloud forest!"
