"We rented to see what living off the coast and into the hills would be like. The set up is great, all amenities there were well looked after and we felt we had the place to ourselves even though there were other guests. Very peaceful and night and great for star gazing. We did not use the pool as weather was not hot enough, but we did BBQ a couple of times which was lovely. The log burner was a nice feature but was needed at night. For us a little too remote and we liked to be back before dark...

"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

"2 couples from Canada, stayed for a month. This was the perfect place for us. Outside Puerto de la Cruz however within walking distance. Local district had many places to eat and drink. Discount grocery was a short walk, butcher and fruit shops close by. Bus stop out front was nice for getting around. Solid charming working kitchen. Would love to return some day."

"We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in this property. It was very much as advertised. The property is relatively small, cozy. The location in a small village with no through traffic was a bonus. There is easy access to the major highway system on the Island and easy to access all the areas of Tenerife. Having a dedicated underground parking stall was very helpful. We found finding parking in Tenerife to be very challenging. Lots of driving around to find a place to park, so having our own parking...

"Think Ibiza chill vibes, this place is stunning. The roof top is just spectacular, and the plunge pool and real bonus. The house is very well equipped, but be aware there is no aircon, and I really struggled to sleep in the master. The views down to the sea and the rocky island are wonderful as this place is a good 10/15 mins walk straight uphill from Garachico. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood and has free parking outside. I will definitely return."

"This is such a charming place with great modern equipment and lots of love for details that made us feel really comfortable. Daniel (the host) shared many valuable hints to local restaurants and places worth visiting. We loved the tracking in the neighbourhood and the local market. "We had a fabulous stay in Tenerife. The top floor of this house is quiet, modern and has fantastic views. We slept comfortably and were happy with all of the utensils in the kitchen. The internet is incredibly fast and good for streaming music and shows. We enjoyed the barbeque, which came with all accessories we needed and on other nights, we walked to the town through the beautiful Parque Taoro (lots of climbing, though). "The flat was really nice and spacious and well equipped. However, because of its open plan nature, it was cold despite the owners lending us 2 heaters. It was up 4 flights of steep stairs so many people might find this a problem. It is also high up in the hills and access to and from other areas of the island is very difficult, even with a hire car. The owners were extremely kind and helpful"

The weather for February was fantastic with sun every day and temperatures in the day averaging 22-23 and one day even We had a big problem with Margot trying to locate where the property was and it was only after a number of texts before we got the necessary information. Once at the property we found that although it was a lovely property it was not only us in the property as there was an apartment below us, but luckily for us it as vacant that week...

"A quiet, clean and comfortable finca. It had everything you could think of needing, including sharp kitchen knives and barbecue itensils. The beds are very comfortable. Andrea and Sepp are both very helpful and friendly and respond quickly to any queries. We had a lovely holiday and would stay there again."

"Splendid Canarian home, well presented and had all that we needed. A car is essential.but close to Garachico, and a preferred side of the island if you prefer a quieter time. Plenty of places to visit nearby. Buenavista Golf Club. Nice walk around the outside. Drago tree at Icod. and Puerto De La Cruz 30 min drive away. Also the busy side of the island is only between 45 mins and an hours drive away."
