Very nice place beautiful home, BUT my reservation was for 4 bed and when i arrived int the house , there had only 2 bed.

Great Place!

We only stayed for a short time but enjoyed it. Everything was as Olivia said. Pictures were very accurate. When I messaged Olivia she was very quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

We had an amazing stay with Lisa and her husbands place for 3 days. It is very large with 2 king beds and a large couch enough for us to stay. The kitchen was also very big which we enjoyed as we like to cook. Lisa is a very nice and caring host as she made sure we had everything we needed during check in like towels, soap, conditioner.. etc. The place also came with a laundry machine!

Great place and a great trip!

This unit was just what we were needed, for our trip to Montreal. Everything was clean, orderly and easy to find. We did see the initial less than savory reviews and took a chance on it after speaking with host of the unit and we’re so glad we did! She was very sweet and was pretty much mostly available if we had any questions in regards to the place. We had more than enough room for our small group of three, and the beds were so comfortable. As the previous reviewer mentioned, yes the host did take care of the missing items and everything was there that we needed – wifi, fridge, mattresses, utensils etc. Even though it is about 20-30 minutes to the metro, it is close to other necessities should you need them quickly. That drive isn’t so bad if you have a rental car (or you can also Uber) – as the previous reviewer stated, the money saved with this economic rental choice could be used for a rental. If you’re looking to plan a trip to Montreal soon, we’d definitely recommend giving this place a chance; we were comfortable and cozy. If we come back, this is a place we wouldn’t mind staying in again! Thanks, Olivia! :)

Cozy little condo in Mouscoche, Quebec

Overall, it was a good experience. I think the cleaners might have missed mopping the floor so there was some construction dust on the floors. Nothing too bad. The location is a quite suburb of Montreal. The plus is that it is in a quite neighborhood, with plenty of street parking. The minus is that, it is a 30 min drive to most of Montreal's touristy things. When we stayed, I think the place was still getting final touches with the renovations, so the big refrigerator, microwave, some mattresses were still not installed. The host was nice enough to provide air matresses and a cooler to make do, and it was fine with us. I am sure the host will get those taken care of, if not already done so. The location is close to coffee, grocerty and other stores, so most things are within about 5 minute drive. The biggest advantage of the place was that it was one of the most economical options available in the area. If you are planning to do touristy things, then, the money saved could be used for a rental car, so that you can make your trip more convenient. The place has dedicated parking if needed. It is a basement unit, if that makes a difference for someone. It does have a little back patio, and a little lawn area in the back. Over all a good value compared to price.

Nice Neighborhood, Property Manager was weird and did not respect our privecy.

Great property, but the property manager does not know anything of renting a condo. Day of check-in she met us there. Nice reception There were 3 rooms and only two of them had beds, air mattresses! Had to bring our own air mattress for the third room. The place smelled like stale water, which was coming from the sump pit. She was visiting the condo to install the internet, there was none the first day, she sent me an email; saying our socks stunk and we should wash them. She then dropped off Tide pods to do laundry which we didn't need to as it was caused by the sump pit. The internet did not work until the 3rd day we were there as she forgot to activate it. She was then in the property while we were away and closed the window that was opened and turned off the fireplace. We had to check out on Saturday, and she made us check out at 10:00 instead of 11:00 and she wanted us to help with the recycling. There was one chair in the living room, no sofa, no dishwasher, no microwave, and a small bar fridge. The kitchen exhaust on the ceiling was full of dirt, the living room blinds were very dusty like nobody cleaned it in years. She has no idea about renters’ privacy and notice to renters to come into the property. Great building, hardly any furniture, it stunk, the property manager doesn't respect renters’ privacy and she was just very creepy.

Great potential- Beware for Now

The owner is very kind but this property was not ready to be occupied. There are 3 rooms but only 1 bed with a real mattress. (1 quen air mattress and 1 double mattress on the floor) There were no cleaning supplies so in the event of a spill or mess we were able to clean anything up. No Sofa or sitting area so only able to sit around dining table. Towels were unlean and had animal hair on them or smelled or bonfire. and only 4 were provided. NO UTENCILS- we had nothing to eat with or cook with. we had plates provided but nothing to use them with. Olivia brought pots and pans and dish soap the second day but again we had nothing to cook with. No microwave to reheat food, Mini bar fridge so do not bring a lot of food as there is no where to store it. No coffee maker, no french press. nothing to actually use the kitcher properly. The biggest issue...NO WIF- and being a basement condo there was no reception on your cell phones. there was an ipad that was passed to hot spot but again being in the basement we had no reception and could not use it. This place has the potential to be good but there were too many things that were not provided. This was not a home away from home- we ended up having to buy : air mattress, towles, soap, toilet paper, utencils and paper towel. The owner did offer refund 2 days prior to stay but we had no other options at that point as it was 2 days before we travelled the 10 hrs to get there.
