"We had a wonderful week here at Ian and Lesley's place. It is very secluded and peaceful, yet close to lots of interesting towns, villages and sites. The pool is excellent and the whole place with its lovely garden is a really relaxing environment. Ian and Lesley were always on hand for any tips/help, but also very respectful of their guests' space. All in all, this is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Lot region. We would love to come back!"

"Welcoming hosts, lovely gite, very clean. All relevant facilities in the kitchen and bathroom are available. It is a very quiet and peaceful area, perfect if you want to get away from it all. For those who can't live without their phone, there is WiFi, and three TVs! We loved the animals around, rabbits, free range turkeys, horse (not to be eaten!). The hosts are very friendly. "Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. "

"Beautiful villa , beautiful pool but partly my fault for not doing research properly. This villa is part of a working farm (sheep & goats) this caused major issues with flys I means loads of them so much so that you could not eat or drink outside in the beautiful sunshine. It really should be pointed out in the advertisement of this villa . Beware "

"Overall experience of the property: - Owners friendly, with a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival - Fantastic pool and a lovely garden - Superb location to visit all of the key areas / sights within the Dordogne Few points to note: - The stairs in the property are very steep, therefore, not suitable for young children or the elderly - The wifi didn't work very well and was intermittent - not a deal breaker but useful to have - Very hot upstairs as no fans or a/c - again not a deal breaker...
