A stunning 7 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom two storey home is superbly located in Moonta Bay with ocean views and within walking distance to Simms Cove. Sit back, relax and take in the wonderful sunsets. The large front balcony will accommodated everyone, to relax & cook on a Webber BBQ. Upstairs also offers a bedroom with ensuite. second bedroom & toilet plus open lounge, dining & a beautiful modern spacious kitchen, with dishwasher, electric stove, microwave & Nespresso coffee pod machine. (BYO your own pods) The lower level offers 5 bedrooms, 2 more bathrooms and a large tiled lounge area.
PLEASE NOTE BEDROOMS 6 & 7 IS ONLY AVAIL FOR GUESTS 11,12,13 & 14
There is ducted r/c heating/cooling throughout and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Outside you will find large rear pergola/patio area covered in grape vines keeping you cool plus a large hooded BBQ. A huge garage, with 3.3m clearance with cement floor is also avail for guests. The fully fenced back yard has trees and a large lawned area perfect for the family pet. Please note owners of very small dogs, gates are iron grilled & we only allow 2 dogs maximum.

Please note - Guests 1 to 10 are charged $500 per night off peak, higher in holidays per night. Guests 11, to 14 are charged $50 per guest per night.
We charge a $200 cleaning fee per booking in addition to the per night rate.
If there is damage to the property during your stay you maybe charged up to AU$500
As of February 2026 we have installed a security camera at the front door. This camera will alert the owner when there is movement at the front door. The notifications will be turned off after the guests have arrived & turned back on after the guests have vacated.

We had a wonderful week at Moonta Bay. We watched the fantastic fireworks all up and down the Bay on New Years from the balcony. The space in the house was fabulous. The lounge areas and outdoors were wonderful, cant thank the owners enough!

Fabulous spot for a family get away

Our 3 generations and 2 dogs had a great time. Easy access to beach with safe paddling opportunities. Accommodation was comfortable and well equiped. Particularly thankful for the stair gates that were quickly set up. Highly recommended.

Christmas new years holiday

We had 4 families stay and we never felt cramped for space. House very spacious and well set up. The evenings on the balcony a highlight for the adults.Kids had a great time at the beautiful Port Hughes beach and water park at Moonta. Plenty to do and see and a great feed at the Port Hughes Tavern.

Awesome place plenty of room great views and situated smack bang in between Moonta and Port Hughes jetties. We had 5 families and never got in each others way, very spacious and clean and highly recommended.

Our group had a great weekend away in this fabulous house. There was plenty of room for the six couples, both inside and out. Sitting on the balcony watching the sunset with a few drinks was very enjoyable. I would recommend this house for a group getaway!

Great location. Very short walk to the beach. A nice walk (approx 2km) along the beach or track to Port Hughes. Lots of room for the children to play inside and out. High chair, stair gates, beach toys provided. Nice view from the living area and balcony. Excellent communication with the owner. Would definitely stay again.

Short getaway with family and friends

House was amazing! Thanks Yvonne for letting us stay in your lovely place. It was really spacious and big plus with 3 bathrooms. and parking was really big too! We had a really great stay and super close to the beach. Area was quiet and peaceful. Wish there was just bigger cooking pans at pots and kitchen items to accomodate a big group. Overall a 9/10!

Family time

Our stay was beautiful because of this wonderful accommodation. 10 adults and 3 children had an amazing amount of indoor space and also a Terrific backyard which includes a well kept lawn and pergola. I found communicating with the host easy. Each night we took a short stroll down to the beach for a magnificent sunset. This is the second time we have stayed here and will book in again next year. Love it!

Amazing Holiday House in Moonta Bay

We recently stayed here with another 3 families, all with toddlers. There was plenty of space for us all to be together when we want and apart when needed. Plenty of bathrooms for everyone too. The back yard was a good size for the kids to run around and also play on bikes and scooters. The only negative was that the oven was very slow and uneven with cooking but that is easily manageable once you know about it. We hope to all be able to return again... the kids are already asking when we are going back!

Nice large holiday home

We were unlucky to stay on two 40 degree days. The aircon wasn't quite up for the task initially (the outside temp was extreme) and I didn't know how to use the fans (there is a remote for the fan and a light switch on the wall - for the remote to have effect, first turn on the light switch). Don't be put off, it was a well equipped, home with generous space inside and out. The ad says to bring your own coffee pods, but was pleasantly surprised that these were supplied. Location wise, you can see the beach from the balcony. It is a 350m walk but you have to cut you a privately owned vacant block...once this is built on I think it will be a much longer walk to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable.

Fabulous Family Holiday House

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend here ! It was perfectly set up for our large family with enough space to spread out, plenty of seating both dining & lounging, 3 bathrooms + 4th loo was a bonus. The kids had a great time riding their bikes around out the back which was secure & safe! We booked through Stayz which was straight forward & without complication. Subsequently Vrbo seemed to take over sending trip detail emails with conflicting info, example, I received a notification from Vrbo on our way to Moonta saying check in was at 4pm .. instead of 2pm as stated on Stayz & were about 20 minutes away from arriving! . We then didn’t receive the key pad code to access keys & gain entry to the house. Thankfully one quick phone call & we were checked in at 2pm! Yvonne the host was fantastic, great communicator & very helpful throughout the booking process, in the lead up to our stay & promptly responded to the couple of issues we had during our stay! Thanks Yvonne for allowing us the use of your property.
