"Great spot to explore the north Maine woods"

"My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the Little Red Cabin. It was clean, and very comfortable. The views were spectacular, lots of ducks (mallards, buffleheads, common mergansers) and geese to watch just out side the windows. The only thing missing was a place to put our clothes in the upstairs rooms. Maybe some shelves, or hooks. Perhaps some hooks in the upstairs bathroom to hang towels."

"Adorable cabin, perfect size for our group, sparkling clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and anything you could need in the kitchen. Amazing location, exactly what we were looking for. Host was responsive and wonderful to work with."

"Location was great for fishing Moosehead Lake and lodge has great space for the ten of us to relax and sleep and cook in the evening. Only down side was there was not enough parking for the number of trucks and trailers e we had but we made sure by leaving trailers at the near by boat landing."

"We stayed for 8 days, the house is comfortable and we enjoyed the stay. 3 Suggestions - Dishwasher did not work, did not have power. More towels for drying dishes would be helpful. Bed in downstairs bedroom is pretty worn out, would be good to consider replacing. Other than that it is warm, well lit and clean."

"The location was beautiful, right on the river and beautiful views. Close to trails for ATV. The Rockwood bar and grill fed us two nights and we enjoyed it! The home was cozy and had the essentials. We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs living room. The house could have had a deeper clean (just lots of cob webs and some bugs around lights) I also wish there was less responsibility on the guests. We had to do laundry and take all of our trash. This left us in a rush and waking up early to ensure the laundry was managed. Over all, the views and eagles we saw made it worth it!"
