If you want to have a relaxing holiday, not doing much but hanging out by the swimming pool, cycling around rice fields, enjoying locally produced organic vegetable meals away from crowds of tourists and being attended to by friendly staff - here is your spot. "Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. "Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

"The staff and management is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were subpar but clean enough. No aircon which was fine but no hot water either. The showers were non functional and no buckets were provided till requested. The property is isolated and tough to find. However for the price and for someone seeking a secluded no frills stay with kind and helpful staff I recommend the hotel."
