"Check-in was easy because it was all done online beforehand. You must have access to data in order to unlock the main doors and rooms as there are no keypads or keys. Overall, the area was quiet and clean, within easy walking distance to the Prado museum and shopping. "

"Hotel is nice and in good location, but it has a ridiculous policy that no visitors are allowed. That policy should be clearly stated when you are booking a room. I was in town visiting my daughter who lives in Spain, we would come into the room to grab something or use the restroom and they kicked my daughter out every time. Stating that no visitors are allowed, never have I ever stayed at an hotel with that policy. "

"This is a lovely small suite hotel to stay at in El Escorial. The views were spectacular and the accommodations were immaculate and very comfortable. Historic building restored in a modern and tasteful way. Highly recommend. "

"Clean accomodations, comfortable beds, well equipped with small refrigerator, kettle for hot tea / coffee. Air conditioning worked great. Family room was small but a great option for a one night stay in the center of Madrid, with easy access to metro transportation, restaurants, shoppingand historic landmarks.
