"I stayed here for my first visit to Lago di Garda and had a fabulous experience. The apartment's location is perfect and Marilu could not have been a better host. It is a short walk to fabulous restaurants on the lake. The apartment was spotless and exactly as pictured in the listing. There is a front balcony on which I enjoyed my morning tea and a side balcony where you could sit in the sunny afternoon, both with beautiful views of the lake. Marilu and her husband operate the mini-market...

"This was my third visit to Lake Garda. Room 1 had no lake view because it was completely blocked by trees. As an Expedia VIP member, I did not ask for the complimentary room upgrade that may be offered subject to availability; I merely asked whether we could move to one of the vacant neighboring rooms with a view. The request was refused on the grounds that the hotel was fully booked, yet guests who arrived after us were assigned better rooms. When I questioned this again the next morning, the...

"Short walk from the bus station. 10 min walk up hill away from the water from the ferry stop. Conveniently located near a grocery, in the old section of town. Near every thing! We had apartment 2. Both 1,2 have large balcony’s looking north with a mostly unobstructed view of the lake dining table and chairs on the deck were fabulous. Beds comfortable pillows were flat. Washer available in a common area for extra charge. Host was very helpful. European shower (ie small). Only a few stairs to...

Voiture indispensable"
