"Air conditioning was lovely and the staff were all warm and welcoming. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Room was a bit noisy as we were right next to the road but overall an excellent central location"

"Fantastic location and surroundings Was disappointed with our room for tha fact we upgraded with a pet with us To find out we didn’t get our upgrade because pets were not allowed in that side of the hotel So Single beds which I was very disappointed with But the front desk could give us a free breakfast But to be honest, would rather a double bed I ordered But all in all staff are fantastic Easy parking Clean room Beautiful place to visit"

"Beautiful old hotel- our room was really nice and quirky. If you are not good with stairs I would check what room you have as its a rabbit warren of ups and downs but we loved it!"

"Really nice historical property in primary location. Stayed in room 115 which may be the best room on the property. Large and historically decorated. King James spent several nights at the property when it was a simple coach house. Nice restaurant on site but recommend reservations at both hotel and restaurant at the same time, as the area is not that large and very popular. Within easy walking distance of the train station, grocery store and many local historical sites. Front desk was very helpful. Great town to use as an introduction the Cotswolds."
