"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"
"The location of this property directly in the lakefront was amazing and offered a beautiful view of the lake from the room. The facility is rather dated overall, but the room was clean and stocked with everything we needed for the stay. The parking lot was convenient and free. Another convenience was the hotel's location in front of the tour boat departure point. "Check-in was a little odd using a machine, but there was an employee who helped us. The nearby lake was beautiful, although we didn't have the clearest view from our room. The free sake was fun in the lobby. Breakfast was also tasty. The Japanese-style mattress (futon) could have used a bit more padding."
