"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

"This hotel needs to be renovated, the onsen is very old and dark. The room is very basic but the view is great. We could see the fireworks from our bedroom window. The staff were very nice. It’s conveniently located near the bus station. I would splurge to stay at a better hotel that has an onsen that is inviting and that has better accommodations. Feels like an hotel from the 80s! "

"Kind and warm staff. They go beyond expectations. I was welcomed with a warm dinner just in case I missed it as the area around Shin-Hakodate station has no convenience stores or restaurants. A pleasant experience that I want to repeat in the near future."
