Enjoy the echoing of bellbirds with views from your window, where you can spot horses, sheep, and a variety of wildlife including white & black cockatoos, rosellas, lorikeets, galahs, ducks and the occasional wallaby. Take a break from the stress and strain of everyday life and enjoy some much-needed downtime at Dora Creek Cottage. Experience some of nature’s beauty with the picturesque surroundings, and find inner peace with the calming atmosphere. A 10 minute drive is the State Forest and endless Watagan Mountains where you'll find trails, waterfalls, lookouts, picnic spots, mountain bike, motorbike, horseride; Across the road is Dora Creek leading to Lake Macquarie, Australia's largest coastal saltwater lake with an abundance of watersports, fishing, tours, dining, walks, arts & history; the Hunter Valley Vineyards is an easy 30 minute drive.
