"Staying at Riad Kaya made our stay in Marrakech extra special. We were given a warm welcome from the onset from Chouaib, who was beyond kind and helpful throughout our stay. The property was clean throughout and the breakfast offering was both generous and delicious. Chouaib also makes the best Moroccan tea! Once we were familiar with the location, the route to the Main Street was straightforward and safe. We will definitely be visiting Riad Kaya again!"

"Absolute gem of a place, literally a couple of minutes walk from the main square, 10 minutes from the main souks and close to everything you need. The interior is beautiful, staff couldn’t have been more friendly and the breakfasts on the roof terrace were delicious. Our room was right next to reception so we were disturbed in the early hours one morning but the hotel can’t help inconsiderate guests. Highly recommend the transfers to and from the airport, and they even provided a packed breakfast for us on our early flight. Highly recommend, we would absolutely return and recommend, thank you."

"It would have been nice to have bottles of water replaced in our room every day we stayed, rather than just day 1. Our toilet was not flushing so reported it and it was fixed straight away, only thing was that the bath mat was soaking wet and they left it on top of the bed! When we arrived we were not greeted with complimentary drinks as we saw other guests were greeted with drinks (Moroccan tea). I needed help with a restaurant booking so approached the front desk, the First Gentleman I spoke to I felt was abit abrupt with me! so spoke to another one instead who was very helpful. I would have loved a long floor mirror in our room rather than one hung on the wall as a decorative piece( but could not even look in it as it was high up). This is not a complaint but just something I experienced! I would definitely book this riad again as it was so convenient to a lot of the places we visited, very clean, breakfast was enjoyable and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful especially the guy who took our suitcases from us midway on the way to our taxi ( as he just took other guests to their taxi, and saw us) the poor man nearly got run over by a motorcycle but he was not hurt!"

"Great stay in a beautiful Riad. Truly an oasis from the crazy souks . Staff especially Selma were kind and helpful. The spaces for lounging were gorgeous only downside was the arrangement of the pool which was away from the loungers and the hot tub/jacuzzi was not working to get hot and only suitable for a hot day since it’s cold and shaded."

"I would not stay anywhere else if I ever come back to Marrakech! The staff are wonderful and so helpful, kind, generous and friendly. Everyone is a pleasure to talk to. The rooms are lovely and clean and well maintained, the riad is beautiful in a quiet and tranquil corner of an otherwise bustling town center. The breakfast is lovely with honestly some of the best pastries we had anywhere in the city. The massage is great value for money. No notes, genuinely a perfect stay. "

"Breakfast is abundant and fresh, and varies from day to day. Tea/ coffee is available all day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to go to the international hospital for an emergency, the staff not only arranged transportation but also assisted and accompanied through the entire process. "

"Very rude and unprofessional staff. The AC wasn’t functioning well and most of the time the room was very hot. Room service is very late and not to the standard of the price paid. Misunderstood the booking days and made me pay for an extra night while at checkin I gave them the dates I was supply to stay, when I told them they need to fix it they argued about the new price and when asked for the authorities they wouldn’t call the police and physically blocked me from leaving the premises to call the police. They held my suitcases and passport in my room and did not inform me that I was supposed to checkout on the 19th until I returned from my day out. Overall customer service is very poor and unprofessional, there is no customer satisfaction not the price paid is worth the amenities. Paid similar price at the ritz and had the best ever experience and service. This shows how the hospitality in French managed hotels in Morocco and the customer service in general still lacking and the bureau of tourism should be aware of these issues. I would not recommend this facility to anyone else in the future."
