"Room was in a well maintained condition, clean and tidy. The breakfast supplied was amazing and would recommend. We stayed midweek and the noise levels from the bar wasn't an issue. The staff were lovely and friendly. The bar access was a welcomed bonus, friendly patrons and new poll table."

"The staff were warmly welcoming, room was spacious and clean. Plenty of top quality tea and coffee in room. Room was warm - with a fan if that wasn't what you wanted! Breakfast menu was comprehensive and delicious, as is lunch and evening menu. Large bar area. Car park appreciated. Easy walking distance to centre with a variety of shops, Sunday Market and hospitality venues."

"Hotel is easy walking distance from the centre, and a couple of supermarkets, the parking space was great, room was basic but good value, clean, plus a fridge. Had a good night's sleep. Helpful staff."

"The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Highly quality white cotton bedding and soft fluffy towels. High end bath and shower products provided. Tea and coffee provided in the room along with fresh milk and cold water. Breakfast was made to order. High quality ingredients with lovely sourdough toast. We had the lovely roast lamb dinner on Sunday. Plenty of veg and roast potatoes. Staff were very friendly too. Would definitely stay again."
