The rooms are lovely, with one caveat: ours had a half-step up to the bathroom I didn't notice, so I tripped and hurt my arm -- the staff should bring this to guests' attention so they don't get hurt. Also, the breakfast needs more vegan options that aren't sweets. But a fabulous stay even so."

"Le site était magnifique. Le seul bémol était le lit avec un matelas à ressorts. On a manqué de confort. La chambre quant à elle était spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous n'avons pas soupé sur les lieux. Le petit déjeuner était correct mais possiblement plus apprécié des gens qui aiment les café et les charcuteries et pâtisseries le matin. "Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti con la famiglia e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La stanza era ampia, confortevole e molto pulita. Tanti piccoli accorgimenti molto utili per chi soggiorna. La colazione semplice ma genuina e abbondante: ottima la crostata fatta in casa! L'ultimo tratto per raggiungere il casale è una strada sterrata che però è in ottime condizioni e quindi non presenta nessuna difficoltà anche con auto normali. Posto molto consigliato!!"

"We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. "As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather.
