- FARPOINT Cottage on Tilden Pond-- Seasonal cottage on waters' edge with amazing views, quiet, and only 10 minutes to town and ocean. Enjoy an iconic Maine 'pond' while having your morning coffee. Sleep with the sound of the water lapping onto shore out your window. The cottage is surrounded by loons, ducks, fishing, eagles and sounds of lake life. Perfect location for fishing, kayaking, relaxing and exploring while still enjoying the amenities of a city. This property is a quiet spot for enjoying the outdoor, not a rowdy crowd or late night noise.
Tilden Pond is located 8 minutes/6 miles from Belfast with restaurants, a large and high-quality grocery, hiking, and all the amenities of the modern world. Oh and of course the ocean! Belfast was voted 'Best Place to Live' in Maine 2022. Belfast has a charming city center near the ocean with an abundance of shops, cafes, and restaurants including the largest flagship grocery store in the mid-coast and of course --Dunkin Donuts. You are in the heart of mid-coast Maine with easy access to Acadia National Park 75 minutes away and Portland less than 90 minutes south.
