"Loved our two week stay here. Beautiful property, decorated to a very high spec with breathtaking views you can never tire of. Incredibly clean and worked really well for our family of 6. Our children loved the pool and jacuzzi / indoor swimming pool. Gardens are stunning and and our host Manuella was superb - friendly and attentive. We will definitely return one day"

"We had an unforgettable and truly relaxing stay at the idyllic Valley's Ground house. It ticked all our boxes: The house is new - the exterior and interior design as well as the appliances are modern. "Charming house, very clean and well equipped. The small pool is perfect for toddlers that don’t know/are learning how to swim! Our daughter loved it! Wonderful setting in great location! Jane is the best! She is the sweetest and most helpful host! I totally recommend staying in casa de Alagoa! "Beautiful boutique hotel! So unique! The bathroom is set up like a library and the sink is an open book. The designer was so creative! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable too! The staff were all very nice and helpful too. I recommend the property! (Pay attention to their instructions for dropping off luggage and parking your car to avoid confusion. We did and it was simple!)"

"Beautiful and unique place to stay. It’s like you back in time. Room was clean, stuff is helpful and professional. Bed wasn’t very comfy and it’s a little warm inside. There is no AC or a fan. Also there is no WiFi in the room only in the bar area of the hotel. Breakfast however was really good. For dinner we drove 10 minutes away to a nearby village. Restaurant at the hotel was too expensive for us. Overall I say it’s definitely worth visiting "
