Another downside would be the hot drink facilities are downstairs and they provide free tokens from 6 am to 11am for a hot drink. However , you are more than welcome to use the kettle and microwave anytime during the day or night. "Great for a quick stay before heading out. The dorms are clean, well maintained and economic. The restaurant offered delicious food and breakfast was very French but delicious and not just continental. Not recommended for longer stays but great for a night or two! The front desk staff was very helpful. "

"Lys, the host at the front desk was super friendly and helpful! She also is really charming & funny, which makes the whole process that much more enjoyable. Lys is very well informed and will definitely give you practical advice for all of your inquiries. This is reflected throughout the property. There’s a bar & cafe on the ground floor directly on the canal. The bartender is really efficient and cordial! The rooms and showers were quiet, calm and surrounded by greenery."

"Booked from 25 April to 2nd May but did stay. The location was very unclean, with heavy unpleasant smell, highly over crowded, had to leave location immediately due to feeling unsafe and inappropriate touching by an occupant. Currently trying to get a refund via PayPal. "

"There were literally massive bugs crawling all over the bed in the room. The room was very messy and dirty and not ready to receive anyone. We had arrived exhausted and were even ready to tolerate the mess and spent an hour trying to kill the bugs the huge bugs and beetles that were attacking my young daughter. We were going to wait until morning to get our place changed. But as it got worse and worse after three hours, we finally had to have an emergency move to another place at 2:30AM....

"We were transferred to the Avalon hotel in Paris. I asked to have my sheets changed four days in a row they didn’t get around to it until the fifth day. The room is very small much smaller than I anticipated. The location was ideal close to public transportation restaurants easy to get around."
