"Once checked in a good stay. Comfortable room and good location. Problem with check in was that I was expected to do it remotely, sending a copy of my passport by WhatsApp, which I declined to do. The person I had been speaking to then contacted his boss who then came round, checked me in properly and was friendly and helpful."

"Very strange place with no customer service. Not sure it belongs on hotels.com as it is more of a self serve room in a hallway of 6 rooms. No person on site to greet you, rooms very spartan without even a drinking glass. Hard bed, decent linens. But the location was perfect for making connections between the ferry and the train. "

"Our stay at Casa Vela can only be described as magical. The owner allowed us to stay in an upgraded room for the first couple of nights, which had an incredible view looking over the streets and the sea! Casa Vela has a wonderful wine bar attached to it with excellent food and drinks. Our room was clean and very comfortable. The staff are very kind and attentive! Scilla might be the most beautiful community in all of Italy, the people are warm and welcoming and there is a very laid back...

"This is a lovely building in a great location! Thank you for letting us enter so late. Staying here really made our night great after experiencing a horrible flight delay. We checked in and went out for a bite which was just a few steps away and was a wonderful experience in itself. We slept comfortably and had everything we needed.
