Peaceful and quiet early morning; became crowded throughout the day. Located at the trailhead from Niasca to Portofino and Paraggi, a beautiful short hike."

"Happy Apartments Luna is comfortable, well-furnished and well-equipped and in a very convenient location in Genoa. It's not far from the main railway station (walking distance, or 3-4 short bus stops if you have luggage). It's close to bus stops for several useful routes, and there are 2 funiculars and several lifts nearby that can take you effortlessly up to higher levels of the city. "We stayed here for a couple of days prior to our cruise, and it was a great location for that. Check in was easy, although finding the door again can be tricky, look for the sign. One thing to note is that there is not a living/sitting room, we just sat around the dining table and chatted. Rooms are good sized ant the beds are comfortable. Better than a hotel room for a few nights, we'd stay there again."

"Really well located and solidly equipped with all the basic amenities. Only two things to note would be: there are quite a few flights of stairs, so not ideal for heavy luggage/mobility issues, and check-in is in person, which does mean the extra step of having to coordinate with the (very cordial!) host to receive the keys. That said, once settled in, it was comfortable, practical and a solid all-round option for group accommodation"
