The best thing about the lodge is its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park. It is by far the lodging closest to the park. Scenery is gorgeous. There are very few dining options near the lodge. Pizza was available for purchase from the lodge office until 6 or 7pm.

Unique and fun for the kids first time glamping. Rent your boards for sandboarding at the dunes near by! Rusti has smores for kids but we could not partake. A little chilly at night and would like more food options. Would stay again!

This location is great! It was the perfect spot for visiting the sand dunes and sand dunes recreation. We had 5 adults with us and there was just enough space. The kitchen is well stocked. We had everything we needed.
