"Una bella masseria storica ristrutturata, personale gentile e prezzo giusto. La stanza era comoda anche se mancava il bidet. La colazione era buona anche se avrei gradito più varietà di formaggi. Il salone dove si fa colazione è pieno di vespe e girano intorno alle pietanze, sembra non sia possibile risolvere il problema. Nello personale non ho avuto fastidio riguardo agli insetti ma per qualcuno potrebbe diventare una causa di fastidio. Nel complesso consiglio vivamente la struttura."

"My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience throughout. Before we even arrived Salvatore was responsive with messages and arranging our late check in. He greeted us as soon as we arrived in the car and showed us to a parking space directly outside the property. The masseria is stunning and the rooms are very unique! "We can’t recommend this historic and beautiful place enough! Everything was unbelievable beautiful and thought through (the pictures don’t even do justice) The owner and staff was the most friendly we experienced throughout our travels in Italy and the service was top. Having homemade limoncello and fruit/greens directly from the garden for dinner was amazing! We already look forward to visit again! "

Beautiful week at the Villa Pompea

"We had a fantastic stay at the villa Pompea. The villa was very nice and exceptionally clean. The pool and facilities were excellent, and the host was extremely attentive, providing us with additional information throughout our holiday. The only feedback we would offer is the addition of air conditioning in the second bedroom. However, the host kindly provided a fan, which was appreciated. Overall, the villa is beautiful, in a great central location and close to everything. We are very happy we chose to stay here and highly recommend it! ."

Secluded villa with unshared pool (Jun-Sep) surrounded by an acre of olive trees

A great house with a great host

"We stayed for 2 weeks in July and loved the house and private pool. The house has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. We had a mixture of days by the pool and BBQs in the evenings and days out. We loved the covered terrace which was great as the days were so hot. The air-conditioning in the bedrooms was a life saver. We visited Otranto, Gallipoli, Matera, Santa Maria de Leuca, and Alberobello. There is so much to do. But special mention has to go to Bill our host who was so helpful to us when we needed to get our car into the garage in Cutrofiano. He gave numerous lifts and translated so the problems were solved with minimum stress and disruption to our holiday. We can't praise Bill enough!! We would love to go back 😀"
