"Great location. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. The room was really spacious and clean with everything you need. The bed was a bit hard for me (just personal preference) and as it’s on the main road there was traffic noise at night but it wasn’t too bad and did not effect my sleep. "

"The hotel is in an older building, but the rooms are all freshly renovated. In fact, the hotel has a very classy feel to the classic architecture and yet with modern amenities. We also had a very generous breakfast at the restaurant. The parking was plentiful and the location was very central.Highly recommend."

"Property and room was exquisite. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very curt and rude staff member who seemed upset that she needed to wait for us to travel here for the evening on a long weekend. She phoned us 3 times confirming our arrival time. We told her it would be around a certain time and she mentioned to us that as it was a long weekend, they wanted to leave earlier then the stated check in time. When we checked out the next morning, the cleaning staff was there at 10:59am and the check out was 11 am. We felt SO rushed out and rushed in. And additionally, the kitchen staff were also wanting to rush us out. For the money we spent on this place, it was very upsetting. Perhaps consider staying in the Commodore, an adjoining hotel which was much cheaper."

"Check in was very easy (was hoping for early check in, but reception was shut until just before 2pm). Staff member was lovely on both check in and check out. Room is just a room. Basic, but perfect for our one night stay. Everything was clean, but room is dated. Bed was comfy though, so that's all we needed. "

"The room was very adequate for our needs. The shops were a longer walk than expected but ok. Our only criticisms were we did not receive any emails from the landlord as advised, but the onsite lady did help us after a while to get into the security code. The bathroom was very compact which meant no shower door and a very wet floor. I think it was value for money"
