Lake Front House with Dock, Kayaks, and Boat Slip

Open concept living with beautiful main channel views includes two (2) primary bedrooms on main level and three (3) additional bedrooms downstairs. Enjoy our fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. There's plenty of dining space to accommodate your whole group. Large screened porch with outdoor living and dining options. Relax under the covered patio downstairs, life is on lake time. Downstairs space is also great for kids or the young at heart with shuffleboard, foosball table, and an area for games and crafts. Utility room includes washer, dryer and extra storage space.
Dock provides plenty of space for relaxing, swimming, boating (one boat slip available), fishing, kayaking, and enjoying everything the lake has to offer.
Gated community with playground, hiking trails, basketball and tennis courts.
Visit historic Albemarle or Mt Gilead with their restaurants or antique shops, just 10 minutes away. Or explore nearby hiking and mountain biking trails in Uwharrie National Forest and Mount Morrow State Park.

IMPORTANT: From Oct 23 to Nov 10 Lake Tillery will be down 6 to 8 feet below it's normal levels. Duke Energy controls this process and the duration of the drawdown and the time required to refill the lake will depend on weather conditions and river inflows.

Had a great time at the lake house…Property was clean nice and as advertised….Dock is well lit and in great condition..We caught plenty of fish and made many memories at this stay…would recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a weekend with family or friends to relax or enjoy some time on the water fishing/wake boarding or putting around on the boat…definitely 2 thumbs up!!!

We had a terrific weekend and this great property. The listing matches the actual house perfectly so there was nothing unexpected that came up. The view from the back porch is beautiful and made for some great meals around the large table. I have nothing negative to say about this property. The owners were excellent with communication and we felt right at home.

This home was the PERFECT lakeside retreat we were looking for! The house was well appointed and very clean. Plenty of extras were made available (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwashing, etc). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, including a crockpot and waffle iron. Our favorite place was the screened in deck overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our morning coffee there and watched the ducks come and go. So peaceful! The dock has plenty of seating, the kayaks are easy to get to and use and there are plenty of fishing opportunities to be had. Joel and Jenn are very quick to respond to any questions you may have and truly enjoy opening their home to share with others. It's obvious in how they've taken care of their home and stocked it with extras like boardgames and game tables downstairs. We will definitely book again and cannot wait!

Family vacation

We used this property for a vacation with our adult children and their families. The location on the lake was ideal for swimming and kayaking for all ages. The boat dock was a nice place to hang out and was perfect for docking our own boat The house has separate entertainment areas suitable for different ages groups. We also used and enjoyed the nice fire pit. This place was ideal for our family!

Summer Lake Trip

I can’t say enough of how amazing this trip was for me. I booked this house for my daughter’s birthday because she asked to go to the lake for her birthday present. The owners were wonderful and kept an open line of communication and frequently checked if we needed anything and how they could make our stay better. The house was phenomenal, our group of kids ranged from 10 months old to 7 years old. They loved the kids room and play area, and thought the bunk beds were so cool. The upstairs is perfect, open floor plan for everyone to kick back and enjoy one another and have a great view of the lake. The yard is safe for the kids to play in. The dock was perfect as well. A nice covered area with plenty of seating if you need a break from the sun. Then the swimming of the dock, you could not ask for a better spot. You’re off the main river so very safe from boats and watercraft’s. Everyone in our group was smiling from the second we got there and right through our entire trip. The kids did not want to leave and honestly I didn’t either! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again! If you have even a thought about getting a place on the lake in this area, don’t hesitate about this house it’s perfect. The owners, the house, location, lake, the memories created all get a 10 outta 10! Thank you so much for one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. Nick Pitillo

Family Lake Trip

Joel has an exceptionally clean and well maintained property. It is centrally located making trips to the store convenient. We had our own boat and his dock made accessing the main part of the lake very easy.

A Wonderful experienceE

We stayed with our five children, 3 of their friends, my MIL-11 people in total. It was perfect. We had plenty of rooms and more than ample seating for dining and playing games/watching movies together. The screen porch and dock were spacious enough for all of us. The house was very clean and our hosts were very responsive. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Christmas Vacation with the Family

Our family is larger than our home. To allow all the children and grandchildren time to be together, we decided to choose this home as an option. Not more than an hour from our homes, space, amenities, made this trip a wonderful success. Unfortunately it rained each day so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors but the house was well stocked with everything for many different ages to stay active and entertained during our stay. House was very clean and easy access to the owner, but wasn't needed. The house even had a Christmas tree up for the children to enjoy. Great stacation for us!!

Another amazing stay at Lake Tillery

We stayed here this summer for a week and loved the place. It is convenient for our families who live around the state of NC. So, we booked it and went back as a family for Thanksgiving. The space works for our family. We love the open concept of the kitchen, dining area and family room with its views of the lake. The large dining room table is wonderful and easily sits our family of 12 (two in highchairs but when they graduate the table will still easily accommodate them.) The spiral staircase is steep and was our only concern after our summer stay but we brought a gate this visit and made it so the little ones couldn't go down. Weather turned quite chilly so we didn't spend much time outdoors but did enjoy the firepit one evening. We are already talking about planning a week at the lake this summer. Joel is quick to respond and easy to work with.

We had a great time staying there, it was easy to find. We went went out of his way to make it extra special!! Brand new Grill, made a difference for our after golf dinners!! Would be an excellent place to go back to enjoy the lake!!

End of summer trip

Wonderful home for our end of summer trip for our friends and family. Prefect home for ourdoor living and views are simply amazing! Just a little confusion on the "master bathroom" having a shared bath/shower with separate toilets but wasnt a huge deal.. wonderful home and will definitely be staying again.
