We rented this house for a lake vacation with our kids. It was very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It is in a quiet road that made for great evening walks with our kids. The home owner made us feel very welcome and we would definitely rent there again.
We had a great stay at Ella's House in Mt. Ida. The house is super clean! The host even worked with us to allow a late check out due to a change in our travel plans. This will definitely be our go to place from now on when visiting Mt. Ida every summer!
We have stayed here before and loved it!!! This is our go to place at the lake down from our family. Perfect location with room for boats, trailers and jet skis. Always clean and tidy! Highly recommend this sweet little home at the lake💕
This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner had a sweet handwritten card for us with snacks waiting the on the table when we walked in the door. There was a travel guide book with info on various places around the area. It’s peaceful and quiet.
Lots of space, clean, well presented, easy communication - we had a lovely stay. I made a mistake on booking, but D, the property manager, was understanding and accomodating. Perfect location, over the road from one of the larger crystal mines, 5 mins or so from town. Would definitely stay here again.
My family had the best time while staying at Ella's house. The house was perfect and stocked with any and everything we could think of. Buddy, their dog gave us the sweetest welcome and hung out with us a few times during our stay. Close to town and activities. Host was wonderful.
Ella’s house was wonderful. It had absolutely everything you need for a stay away from home. Super clean. Very comfortable beds. Super responsive and attentive host. Has a great relaxing back yard. 10/10 will stay here again!
This was such a perfect house for us! I loved that it had everything you needed to cook and that it had a designated rock cleaning area. It was quiet and even though it was next to a main road, you would have no idea. Felt very private. Would definitely stay here again.
This beautiful house was the absolute perfect place to watch the eclipse! We loved the fire pit and hammock swings. And there were some very nice extra touches. Really enjoyed meeting Buddy the doggo!!!!!
We would not hesitate to stay again.
We came for the Eclipse and stayed the rest of the week at Ella's House to explore the area and check out the Crystal mines. This place was perfect! Great location. Very nice, clean, house with comfy beds. So much better and cheaper than staying at a hotel in Hot Springs. We all really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. Thank you!
We had a great stay at Ella’s house in Mt. Ida! 1st two days, we had our best friends spend some relaxing time with us, and the 2nd two days we had family stay with us while we all be attended the Rich Mountain Primitive Baptist Association meeting in Hurricane Grove.
Ella’s house was neat and clean and well supplied. Thanks, and we’ll want to do it again!
It's an older home but completely redone and I mean completely. It's perfect. The owner was quick to reply and everything went seamlessly. It's easy to find and in a great location for any activities on the south side of lake Ouachita. Next time I travel there, this will be the first place I try to stay.
Very pleased. Even though the house is about 4 miles outside the city limits, it's super easy to find and very accessible. Felt very clean and SO cute. Well appointed and very comfortable. Will definitely try to book again any time I am working in the area. This was a work trip. The common areas were perfect for meeting with my small team.

This place is simply magical! Everything was impeccable, with every detail you could imagine taken care of. But what we loved the most was the daily visits from the adorable Buddy. Our family campfire was a highlight, and the comfort and positive energy of the place made it truly special. We loved every moment and are so grateful for the beauty and personalization of this incredible spot. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable! Thanks!!!! Love, Patty & Family
The house was perfect for our family of three! It was the cleanest and most well equipped VRBO property I have ever stayed in. The owner’s good taste in decor and necessities shined thru! Even though it rained —a lot every day —we were still able to hike the upper legs of the trails near the house. It was only a 10 minute drive to some great trail heads on the Oachita National Trail. When the area was threatened with severe storms and tornadoes the owner relayed where we could find shelter. She truly cared about us and wanted us to be safe. I would definitely recommend this property!!!!!
We had a nice relaxing stay. The accommodations were nice, very clean, and comfortable. Two adult children shared a room my husband and I in the other/ we were plenty comfortable. Sisters get along well. This was our first time to Mt. Ida to go quarts crystal digging at the area crystal mines. There is a water hose available to use to rinse off your day's treasures. We hope to be back to Mt. Ida- will definitely try to book here when we do.
Owners were easy to communicate with, the process from check in to check out is exactly what you want and expect from a vrbo situation. We were there to look for quartz and they even had a hose around back to help out. The house is so clean and well appointed, with lots of whites, so make sure you respect the place and do your rocks if that’s the purpose of your trip! Perfectly located, cool area, comfy beds. As a vrbo rental owner myself , I was impressed.
Heads up, Montgomery county is a dry county. I don’t drink personally, but my partner does, and football sunday was a little quieter than usual
