Log cabin nestled beside Chiques Creek in historic Lancaster County
This 3-bedroom home is a great place to get away and relax or as a home base for your tour of historic Lancaster County. It is located minutes from Hershey Park, Lancaster County tourist spots and the Spooky Nook Sports complex (home of the US Women’s Field Hockey team) yet apart from all the traffic on a quiet rural street close to Siegrist Mill covered bridge.
Built on the foundation of an old grist mill, the home provides history and charm. Fall asleep to the sound of the mill race right outside your bedroom window. Spend the day watching birds from the sun porch or just enjoying life while watching the creek and its variety of wildlife from the front porch.

If you’re in the area for sports at Spooky Nook I recommend staying here. It’s a ten minute drive to the facility, costs less than a hotel, and has the comforts of a home without being cramped with your family in a hotel room. I’ve rented here twice and while it does just fine when we are at tournaments.

The property was quaint and clean. We were in town for a basketball tournament. The location was perfect...about 7 minutes from Spooky Nook.

We have stayed twice at this property. We enjoyed our stay both times. The house is cozy and clean. My children said it reminded them of staying at grandma and grandpa's house. Thanks for a nice place to stay while we visited family in the area.

In town with my wife and 3 friends for an archery tournament at Spooky Nook. Very comfy house, had no problems at all. Super convenient and will definitely look into this location next year for the annual tournament. The owner Kathy was very communicative and helpful.

This rental was one of the better ones we have stayed in! Cute and cozy, clean and in a beautiful, quiet area that is not too far from town.
We highly suggest this rental!

We were staying for a volleyball tournament at Spooky Nook. We are 3 players moms (so 6 guests) and this space was just right! Much better option than hotel rooms for sure. Full kitchen and multiple baths work out so much better when attending tournaments. House is exactly as described. Comfortable and well stocked. Less than 10 minute drive to the Nook. Economical to go this route since you can cook meals rather than eating out and/or at the Nook! We have reserved it already for the 2 other upcoming tournaments we have this club season! Host was lovely and responsive.

The cabin was clean and cozy. We enjoyed the outdoor scenery with landscaping, covered bridge and creek. Very close to the facility we had to be at. We would stay there again. It is perfect for needed getaways!

Spent two nights at the house for a volleyball tournament. Very easy to get to Nook. House is very nice near a river which is very soothing. Sun room was a favorite for our stay. Covered bridge is a short walk down the road which was neat to see. I would definitely stay here again.

This location was great, it was out in the country and peaceful and very close to a covered bridge. It was only a short drive (20-30 mins.) into Hershey and other tourist areas that we wanted to visit. The house itself was clean and has a nice amount of space and living areas, it is a bit dated and could have newer furnishings. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This place was awesome! Even with our 4 teenagers it was peaceful. They loved sitting on the porch in the morning and listening to all the sounds of spring. I cannot wait to visit again.

The house is in a beautiful area, located not far from Dutch Apple dinner theatre. Convenient within a short distance to a lot of the Amish locations.
If you are looking for a short term get a way this is the perfect place.

Loved this cabin, on the site of an old mill, with the mill race still along the side. Full of history with a coverage bridge just a few minute walk up the street. Beautifully maintained landscaping and flowers. Close to Colombia Pa
Thanks, we will come back again.
