"The Falling Water Lodge was the perfect place for my family to gather while in the area for a celebration of life for our loved ones. The view of Mount Mitchell is expansive and inspirational, a perfect reminder of this favorite and special place. The home has beautiful architectural details and comfortable spaces for recreation and relaxation. We enjoyed the privacy of the bedrooms (each with a view), game rooms (Pool Table and Ping Pong), outdoor fireplace, multiple decks (comfy chairs), open plan w/well-stocked kitchen, ample dining areas, and private nooks for quiet conversation all while surrounded by the beauty of nature (even spied on a den of foxes). Thank you for sharing your home, we had a wonderful experience!"

"We had an amazing time for our family trip with me, my husband, and our 3 adult daughters and their spouses! The Troutmans were fabulous to work with and immediately answered any questions we had when making the reservations and for our trip. The house was meticulously clean, very comfortable (the beds were terrific), supplied with everything we needed, and plenty big that everyone could spread out and have their own space. We will definitely be back. "

"This cabin was amazing! We were on a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip and the guys stayed at this cabin and they could not have been more satisfied and back in high school. It was so perfect for a group of guys that also enjoy golfing. The cabin was spacious enough for the girls to visit one night and do group dinner and everyone was able to eat comfortably. We really enjoyed everything about this trip, from the golf course, to the cabin and the city as a whole!"
"This property was everything we could ask for and more! It was clean and exactly as pictured. The game room was awesome to have with a group of us! The driveway is a little scary if you aren't use to mountains, but ultimately really not that bad compared to other driveways around. I loved everything about our trip and the town!
