"Our hosts, Ann & Alex, were very nice and reachable at any time. The house had plenty of room for all 12 of us. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. The adults enjoyed the theater. We were all in awe of the mountain views. We loved our Christmas walk down the river. We took lots of pictures at the balcony with the spectacular view of the mountains as there are none in Florida. The place is about 45 mins drive to Ashville, NC where we did some shopping; about 2 1/2 hrs drive to Gatlinburg, TN and about an 1hr drive to Sugar Mountain Resort, where we enjoyed skiing. We sure would love to stay again if we are back in the area. Thank you Ann & Alex! "

"Great space for family gatherings. Did need some maintenance, however. Dishwasher needed repair. We were not allowed to use the fireplace which was disappointing as it went down to 17 degrees."

"This house was perfect for our visit. I grew up in the area and this trip was to bury my dad. I spent so many hours on and in the South Toe river fishing with my dad. This trip, I spent the most time at the fire pit and on the deck enjoying the sounds and view of the river. The house was perfect for the rest of the family too. I fixed several meals in the kitchen and had everything needed. I loved several design features in the house, and I'm now considering a few of them for an upcoming remodel of my home. Communication with homeowner's representative was on point. Would definitely recommend. For future trips, we will check this home for availability first."
