"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, spacious, one-of-a-kind cabin near the Mount Mitchell trail. Its authentic character made the experience truly special. Both the interior and exterior were fantastic—thoughtfully designed, well maintained, and perfect for a relaxing mountain getaway. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the new outdoor fireplace was an amazing place to unwind in the evening. The complimentary s’mores kits were such a thoughtful touch, and the kids absolutely loved them! Fall is the perfect time to visit, with gorgeous foliage, crisp mountain air, and easy access to the trails. We would happily stay here again!"
