White Pines Lodge

"The cabins are not fancy but very adequate. The bed was fine. For us the main attraction was the outdoors. Quiet. Good walking trails of varying difficulty. The are signs of upkeep not being done probably due to a shortfall of state funding but the critical things are being cared for. We were there for only two nights and was a very nice place for a little getaway."

"We had a great time at the property. It is a beautiful home and property. The family enjoyed fishing and boating on the pond. With the large property we had area to play many outdoor games and the grandchildren loved the pool table. We had a very quick response from the host when we needed a replacement of a small appliance. The only problem we experienced was very low water pressure on the 2nd and 3rd floor with showering and sinks. The upper deck is awesome."

"What an adorable house. The host was super inviting and responded quickly to my questions. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed. The bedrooms were super cute. I liked the night lights scattered around the house. It made getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom easier. I am a book reader and so when I was at the house I spent most of my time in the comfortable chair in the library/study. This is an older home that is well maintained. I liked that the owner used furnishings that reflected that time period. The house was like a museum with so many interesting things to look at. There was plenty to do at the house. The host provided books, games, television, VCR movies and even a record player. I did not get to use the outdoor screened in porch, but I thought it looked very comfortable and inviting. Everything was super clean. I felt at home. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. I will definitely stay there again if we are back in the area and it is available! It was truly an honor to stay in this wonderful house!!"

"Super cute place. Quite lakeside. Bright and cheerful (in the morning you might wake early). Would be super fun with a small group of friends or a romantic getaway. Would stay again."
