I was not well prepared and I think the hotel could be missing an opportunity to help guests get up the mountain during snowy conditions (I wasn’t carrying snow chains and there were limited options to get me up to my ski lesson on time). "We enjoyed our stay, the location was so handy to the park and ride facility for heading to Whakapapa. The fireplace was delightful, warming us up beautifully with the added drying room behind it (not an actual dryer but a drying room which honestly is so much better). The home was spacious and well laid out, the beds were comfy and the beanbags enjoyed by my children. Towels and linen provided so that made packing easy just make sure you take your own face flannel. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it was perfect for what we needed. No washing powder so brought some and left it there for the next person to use."
