"Everything was great, I fully recommend this place. The room was very clean, the air conditioning kept the room warm and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay."
"Linen napkins at dinner - so nice to see.
Breakfast simple with eggs only one way - would have expected more choice.
All in all we liked the place - ageing gracefully."
"When I arrived, I found I had been alloted an upstairs unit. As the stairs were steep, and I had a knee injury, I was kindly moved to a downstairs unit. This was an upgrade, at no extra cost. I was very grateful.
Staff very pleasant, and amenities excellent.
Easy walk to pools and shops.
I would stay again."
"There is a lot of mouse poo in the kitchen. Then we opened the cutlery draw and found a mouse running around. I was able to kill it. But there needs to be some effort put into pest control. The microwave had food splashed in it. The oven was so dirty it smoked when using it. The rest of the house was in good working order. Though the hole house could do with a deep clean. The chemney needs a sweep, only burns with door open. Good amounts of wood at house. The garden paths are slippery when wet."
Spacious log chalet with free WIFI, great for a few families
6/10 Okay
"Misleading advertising having to pay extra for the spa, considering the price of the stay. The 'king' bed is in fact a super kind so it sheets did not fit. A lot of make shift work done on the house, felt very unfinished. Broken chair (upstairs) and u safe coffee table. Upper element inside oven sagging. Cupboard under the kitchen sink filthy and had mouse droppings. No kindling wood available, and no axe. The yard/weeds were well in need of some attention, as were the dead flies on widowsills and the window pane cleaning outside. Furniture on upstairs deck all broken. All these negatives could be easily fixed to make it a wonderful stay. It was otherwise an ok stay, served its purpose and was warm and comfortable. Good comms with host and easy to access."
