Being on the outskirts of the city allowed us to walk into Nantes (just 20 minutes) and visit the fantastic Isle of Machines, the bustling water front and the Natural History museum. We also visited the brilliant Plage De La Noevveillard - a beautiful beach on the West coast - just 50 minutes drive away. It was very comfortable for two - comfy bed in a romantic middle room and a cosy kitchen with a great view through the main door and with the option to eat outside. There are great walks and we really appreciated riding around on the bikes that we were provided with. There was plenty to do for five days. "Booked twin rooms, was given double bed. Managed to find twin rooms in the end, thn had to chase for proper bedding (missing sheet & pillow case) and towels (only 1 hand towel). All sorted in the end, concierge was very good, but shouldn't have to experience basic things like those above. Hotel itself fine, feels like student accommodation. Location ok, 15 minute walk into main part of town. "
