The walk was beautiful, the overlook was breathtaking. We spent time hiking in Jasper, watching elk in Ponca and star gazing by the fire back at the house. We highly recommend this place!"

"This is a beautiful, historic property! Keith, the owner, has done a fantastic job of renovating an 1891 school house into an amazing vacation rental. This place has everything you need to stay however long you want to; fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, nice shower with no trouble getting and keeping hot water, washer and dryer, microwave, deck, small grill...awesome! "My wife, and I took a weekend to get away from our phones, grab the dog, and spend some time together in nature with our phones turned off. This was the perfect place for it. Secluded spot with helpful, friendly hosts; Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals; fishing was great; paddleboat was awesome; homemade apple pecan bread was fantastic (as advertised in other reviews); pup had plenty of area to run. A much need weekend away! We will be back!"

"Very clean, quite, fully stocked kitchen, tons of towels, there is a creek to drive thru but there is a walk bridge to go over if youre not comfortable driving thru it. Loved getting coffee and sitting outside listening to the animals early morning."

"This little cottage was everything I hoped for and more. It was very well appointed and the owners were simply wonderful. Very kind and helpful. It was such a joy to arrive and everything was as it was supposed to be. The cottage is in a great location, close to everything you need but far enough away to escape the busy city life.
