"Great place! Super friendly, kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location high on the mountain. In room onsen was nice for a quick private soak. The forest and rooftop public onsen were lovely and uncrowded. Breakfast buffet was delicious."

"The room was great and I used the private outdoor bath many times a day. The food was beyond amazing for breakfast and dinner. They gave us so much food and it just kept coming and coming. The staff was very friendly and great. Check in and check out was fast. We were happy with the proximity to the train station we had no problem walking with our suitcases. I would stay there again if we ever comeback to Hakone. "

The private onsen as part of the room was the highlight. We had great views of the mountain and during sunset and sunrise it was just an unbelievable sight. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, delicious and one of the best meals we had on our trip"
