"We cut our stay short, leaving after three out of four nights. To start with the positive: the breakfast was plentiful and the owner was very friendly.
However, the room was very small and the bathroom was completely unacceptable. The plastic shower door was broken (we could only shower with it open), the mirror was blind, hung way too high, and poorly extended with a glued-on piece underneath. The toilet bowl shook badly and tilted to the side when used. There was also a strange odor inside the...

"We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable but not quite what I expected for deluxe. It was comfortable and clean.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were the best we had on this trip to KZN. The outside area is very pretty and we enjoyed having our breakfasts outside."

"Very nice guest house, everything is done to make sure that we are comfortable. The owners are very nice people and can give a lot of advices ans help you with a cooler, booking etc...
Nice location also, you can walk to the beach, restuarants, etc...
The breakfast is really great.
We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely come back.
One more thing we can see some monkeys from our house :)"

Gateway to iSimangaliso Wetland Park, this small town offers convenient access to Big Five safaris and hippo-spotting boat tours. Book a guided tour to nearby Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park where rangers know which trails have the best wildlife viewing opportunities.
Bhangazi Lodge is a lovely guest house in central St. Lucia. My room was large and clean with its own bathroom, a slider to the pool, TV, and a refrigerator. AC was excellent and they had power available even when the town power was out. Kettle in the room as well.
They served a hot cooked-to-order breakfast which was included and delicious. Also coffee, tea and bottled water were always available.
Walkable to the town and the beach, but at night you have to drive due to the hippos wandering...

Marlin Lodge is a great little hotel. It's located in the home of the owners right in the middle of St. Lucia. The owners are a friendly couple that put out a nice breakfast and are always available to chat or help you book some of the attractions. You are five minutes from the beaches, five minutes from the parks, and five minutes from the restaurants. The room was very comfortable. All that was lacking was a television and the bathroom is outside the room (no one else was staying in the next...
