"There was only one aspect to fault, and that was the breakfast. It's a buffet style so the cooked food was in heated containers. Therein lies the problem, the chunks of fried potatoes we not really cooked enough and only warm, the bacon had been sitting there to long and was tough, the knives supplied were not sharp enough to cut it up, it had to be torn apart. "Conveniently located"

"Our sleep was affected due to a group of other guests making noise during the night. Also the mattress on our bed was really hard so not very comfortable. Other than these issues the hotel is good for a short stop, staff are friendly, it’s next to motorway services so you can get food from outlets."

"Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts."
