"This property was awesome! The views are so incredible. It truly is magnificent.The owners kept the pool open for us and my husband swam while my sisters and I had our feet in (86 degree day on October 1). Sitting there watching nature enjoying the views and visiting with family makes perfect memories. Very rustic which is what we were looking for.Location is easy to Harrisburg and Eldorado which was great since we were visiting cousins.Hiking is great in the area and the owners animals kept us entertained.We will definitely be back to this property again!"

"I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the Marion area. The property was reasonably priced and well maintained. It was great for us and our dog beautiful setting. My husband and I rented while attending our granddaughter’s wedding at the Flower Barn."

"My husband and kids stayed for one night at this motel. When we checked in, they realized that they did not have a double bed room ready for us, because they had an unexpected group of people purchase a block of rooms the same night. However, the owner was extremely apologetic and made things right. They quickly cleaned a double bed room for us and ensured there were extra amenities including a coffee maker with supplies and a breakfast basket. Honestly, the room was better than some hotels that I've stayed at before. The room was very clean and had a mini fridge, microwave, and nice mattresses. It seemed like the room had been recently renovated because the flooring, paint, and other details were in excellent condition. We would for sure stay again and recommend! PS - when looking at reviews online for motels/hotels, be sure to use a site that is connected to actual stay. My understanding is that anyone can leave a review on sites like Google, so the reviewer may not have actually stayed at the location."

"Hickory Hollow was what we were looking for. The unit matched what was advertised and was perfect for our quick couples retreat. Keyless entry and great directions from the Outpost were greatly appreciated. The unit was very clean and had all the supplies noted. The notebook in the unit was very useful for hiking and for dining suggestions. In Golconda we went to Diver Down Restaurant which we would highly recommend. Very close to Garden of the Gods and Cave In Park. Elizabethtown was another nice spot (Mercantile Store). I would suggest downloading maps of the area as cell phone reception is a bit sketchy."

"My family and I stayed at this great house for a couple days and it was an amazing experience! It had everything we needed (minus cooking oil or butter if you want to cook food) but otherwise it had everything! The decor was super cute and homey and there were tons of blankets if you get cold or just like to be comfy! I think I counted 12 additional ones! Thanks for hosting my family! If we’re ever back in the area, we’d totally stay here again! :)"
