"Close to Gion district, a bit noisy next to the main road, pillows could be better and the curtains need fixing. Very clean with comfortable beds otherwise - movie projector was great! "

"Not many dining options in the area. Easy access to transportation. Staff during check in process was great. Provided clear instructions and courteous. Rooms were large and kids really enjoyed the play elements. Highly recommended especially for family with kids."

"Great location for visiting Kyomizu and Gion areas. Spacious apartment with a mixture of traditional and modern Japanese interior. Friendly owner but a bit difficult to communicate with he in English. The check-in and check-out procedures are done online at the front desk and seem unnecessary. The check-in time is too late at 16:00. It should start at 14:00. "

"Great hotel that’s close to Kyoto station. Close to the subway stations making it easy to get around the city. Restaurant in the hotel is amazing. Room is good. Definitely on the smaller side but pretty standard for Japan"
"The staff were very welcoming, polite and extremely friendly at all times. Our room was very clean and although some reviews stated that the rooms are usually compact, we had a room with 3 beds and it was very spacious. We had everything in the room including pyjamas and sandals provided. Good location with a 7/11 shop right infront and a coffee shop on the left (30 seconds) and a starbucks to the right, less than a minute. 5 stars for an overall review including price, comfort and satisfaction. Thank you"
"My second time here, always friendly, attentive helpful staff. Great rooms, very clean, nice amenities and a nice breakfast. Will come again hopefully due to the kind staff and great location."
"Excellent hotel. Very new and clean, also a great location to most stuff in the area. The fresh bakery down stairs is amazing. We loved the room and the shower was very nice. Very clean and the staff was amazing. 5 Stars. We traveled from the US. "
"Great staff! They helped to facilitate a lost item at our precious hotel and they arranged for it to be delivered. The staff were always friendly and had answers to our questions. The hotel is situated one stop away from the Kyoto station. Very convenient. The rooms were large, beds and pillows comfortable. Best of all for me, was that they had comforters as I like to sleep with something weighted on me. Across the street there is a very good and small ramen place, highly recommended. We did have breakfast at this hotel and it was OK since it was more Japanese than western. Am used to a traditional western breakfast but other might enjoy a more Japanese one. "
