The location was incredibly convenient — right next to public transport and within walking distance of many attractions. We especially appreciated the little touches like the yukata robes, green tea set, and quiet ambiance — perfect after a long day exploring the city. Breakfast was a highlight: a well-balanced selection of Japanese and Western options, beautifully presented and delicious. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto — whether for leisure or business. It felt like a true home away from home."

"This is a beautiful large hotel in the middle of a residential neighborhood and easily walkable to the Imperial Palace gate. We also walked to the train station which was a bit further than we expected but totally doable even with luggage. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of options and staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger than expected. We found that everywhere we went in Japan beds were much harder than we are used to in the US and this hotel was no exception. Everything was very clean and well maintained and we would definitely stay here again."
