"i spent two days at Jollys and i had the best time ever, I enjoyed the fact that the hotel had a sense of community especially in the evenings when people get together, and everyone is lovely and having a good time. I only request them to have swiping machines for Visa cards as well, it would make it easier for us foreigners that don’t use Zambian banks or don’t have local changes. See you soon again."

"Our room was about what I would expect for a mid-range guest house in Zambia. The beds were fairly comfortable and the room was clean. The adjoining bathroom was small, but it worked. we didn't actually eat the breakfast as we were out and about before it was served, but the cafe packed us a small breakfast the night before to take with us which was great. we did eat pizza one night and it was awesome! Some of the staff at the front desk were amazing and went above and beyond to help us book our day trips, the evening front desk person was friendly but not as helpful. I would probalby stay here again"

Victoria Falls Waterfront

Victoria Falls Waterfront

10/10 Excellent
"Victoria Falls Waterfront is a great basecamp to explore Victoria Falls and Mosi Oa Tunya National Park. It's not super luxurious like the two adjacent lodges but you can go for a meal at one of the others very easily. Waterfront is very comfortable and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Our game drive guide was excellent, well trained and knowledgable, and knew every bird species we saw. A big advantage of the Waterfront is the relatively affordable activities available directly from the hotel activities office, and the proximity to sunset cruises (they have cruise boats on the Zambezi docked on site), as well as proximity to game drives- the hotel is actually in the National Park. I recommend the combo game drive and sunset cruise on the same day. It's a very affordable way to do those 2 activities and it includes drinks and dinner on the sunset cruise! The dining experience is not fancy but the food is good and dining area right on the river. If you want fancy it is available nearby. The room with a river view was very comfortable with a decent sized bathroom with a great shower. There are some mosquitoes - which is probably true of any hotel in the area, so you do have to be vigilant about keeping windows and screens closed in the evening."

"Wonderful stay at an authentic African lodge with beautiful views from their restaurant deck. We stayed in the family chalet which was on the outer rim of the campus. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. We were able to borrow an electrical conversion box from the reception. Baboons were wandering during the morning and afternoon. We saw crocodiles and elephants in the early evening. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying in the National Park. We also strolled through the Avani and Royal Livingstone pathway from the Falls where we saw giraffe, impala, zebras and baboons."

Ngoma Zanga Lodge

Ngoma Zanga Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"This charming little lodge is the perfect base camp for exploring Livingstone. With accommodations for only 20 guests, it offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere, supported by an attentive staff of 13 who are always happy to help in any way they can. The outdoor lounge area and pool are ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. While the lodge is a bit too far to comfortably walk to most attractions, arranging taxi rides was easy and hassle-free. A special thank you to Stella, Kennedy, Destiny, and Naomi for going above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Livingstone"

"My wife, son, and I had an excellent and memorable stay here. Our room was spotlessly clean, thanks to the fantastic housekeeping team, and the showers were incredible—it felt just like standing under Victoria Falls! The food was great, particularly the breakfasts and the poolside restaurant. However, I would have loved to see more local Zambian dishes on the standard restaurant menu. That said, the evening cultural show was a highlight, offering a wonderful display of Zambian culture alongside delicious traditional food. The hotel’s location is unbeatable; we easily walked to Victoria Falls three times and even took a day trip across the border. Additionally, the staff was highly helpful in arranging our airport transfers and excursions. Another highlight is the animals roaming around. It's quite the experience to be lounging by the pool and have a giraffe standing next to you. Or looking out your window to see baboons or zebras. We would definitely return."
