"We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel degli Haethey. It's in a quiet part of town, about 15 minutes' walk from the centre, near some nice beaches. The Atlantis beach club has a very good restaurant that's open in the evening.
The air conditioning can't be adjusted, but they were happy to give us a fan. They also gave us extra pillows.

The Do Not Disturb indicator, that should light up next to the door, didn't work.
Two light bulbs were not working, and were not replaced despite several requests."

"My first impressions were that this is a well- appointed and sophisticated resort. The design is beautiful, but be aware that the entire resort is terraced off into multiple levels, so there is lots of stairs. However, there are some strategically located elevators for those that have trouble navigating flights of stairs.
My stay was during the first weekend of October 2024 and little did I know, that this is already considered the “off-season“. While that means more affordable lodging rates, it also means a muted vibe and a reduced level of services I’d expect in a 4-star resort.
Moreover, the resort is situated outside of town and a visit to the seafront, restaurants , and shops meant a 15 to 20 minute walk. While the resort does have a shuttle van, it was not in operation to transport guests to/from the seafront or the train station (I walked a mile/1.6 km with luggage from the station on check-in day). Uber was not available and no local buses were running in October.
The on-site restaurant was mediocre, with the exception of the breakfast which was great! There are 2 tiny bars, but a full-service lounge is needed.
But despite these criticisms for the resort as a whole, I must say that ALL of the staff I interacted with during my stay was friendly, professional and accommodating. They exhibited pride in what they did for guests.
Overall, I would still recommend a stay here. But be sure to ask a lot of questions about seasonal services before you book or visit. "
