The first room we were offered was absolutely diabolical, it didn't even have a window and smelled of paint! Fair play to the hotel they did change us to a room that was marginally better for no additional cost but if we were staying there for any longer than one night I would've moved to a different hotel. English health and safety would 100% have the hotel condemned, there is zero fire escapes and god forbid there is a fire in the building, I doubt there would be any survivors!

Must Visit Hotel Gulf Colaba

One of the prime location in Mumbai.The hotel is next to the Taj hotel. The Front office team is quite cooperative. I have visited with my wife for my office work we had a one day trip to elephanta.

Safe choice

Overall I’d say the hotel is above average in India but not exciting. The bed was average and more comfortable than some of the other beds I had stayed on during my trip. I would say that for their small rooms the space might be better utilized. Additionally, there was an oil all over everything in the room. Presumably to fight mosquitoes.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This property is nothing like the photographs on Expedia. We arrived after a long flight from Ireland and even though we advised of our check in time, they still couldn’t find it. Bathroom was infested with flies, and the door wouldn’t lock properly. Unclean and not very secure When checking in we had to ask for our passports back also.
